Pune Net-Zero 2050 Roadmap
2024Two-year engagement with the Pune Municipal Corporation to model a sector-by-sector net-zero pathway covering buildings, mobility, waste and electricity. Delivered the city's first publicly released MRV-ready emissions inventory and a 24-action priority playbook adopted by the smart-city committee.
Bengaluru Cooling Action Plan
2024Designed the city's first cooling-action plan — passive cooling guidelines for new construction plus a heat-island mitigation playbook for ward-level officers. Currently being adapted for Hyderabad and Surat.
Bandra Vertical-Stack Residential Retrofit
2023Energy and water retrofit of 14 mid-rise residential towers in Mumbai's Bandra cluster. Designed a low-disruption staged-work model so residents could remain in place during the 11-month construction window.
Mumbai CDP Cities First Disclosure
2022Built Mumbai's first CDP Cities submission from scratch — data plumbing across 12 municipal departments, governance committee setup, and the narrative response itself. Scored a B in year one (against a peer benchmark of D).
About
Founder of Lokavidya Climate, a 12-person advisory practice serving municipal clients and real-estate portfolios across South and Southeast Asia. Started as a Mumbai DCR consultant in 2011, switched fully to decarbonization after the 2019 IPCC SR15. I think the next decade of sustainability work belongs to people who can translate between climate science, financial modelling, and the trades crews on a job site.
