Key features
- Methods by asset class, including listed equity and bonds, business loans, project finance, commercial real estate, mortgages, motor vehicle loans and sovereign debt
- A data quality score from 1 (verified, reported emissions) to 5 (estimates from economic activity)
- Separate treatment of financed, facilitated and insurance-associated emissions
Why it matters for your work
PCAF is the de facto method behind financed-emissions disclosure and net-zero banking targets. Improving data quality scores year on year is where most of the work sits.
